Before you start spraying a chemical you may not understand, take the time to do the research on your area, plants and weeds that are prevalent - and solutions to problems you may experience.
It's important to clean your garden sprayer immediately after using it to spread pesticide. If you leave residue in the sprayer, it can harden and become very difficult to remove, and the next time you use the sprayer, you could end up mixing chemicals or worse!
Although you can easily obtain household pesticides, this does not mean that they are harmless. They are toxic and if used carelessly, they may affect the health of the user, their family, pets or the environment.
